Medical Cannabis

The foundation of success in life is good health

Cannabis contains more than 480 active compounds, 80 of which are only found in cannabis. This is a lot of different variables that affect the body and, in part, the reason why there is always new scientific research published on new discoveries related to cannabis.

Cannabis has been used as a medicinal plant since records began. The use of medicinal cannabis declined as opiates became more widespread. When we discuss all the different health conditions that cannabis can help with and all of the different benefits, it sounds almost too good to be true. It does raise the question as to how can medical Cannabis can help so many conditions without any dangerous side effects.

The human endoCannabinoid system safeguards our biochemical balance on a cellular level, promoting health and balance physiologically. Some people need a little help to maintain their balance or their endoCannabinoid may not be functioning properly at its optimal level. This can be addressed by giving the correct dosage of cannabis from the plant.

Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that interacts with many different receptors in the endocannabinoid system.CBD tends to be the second most abundant cannabinoid in marijuana.

THC binds with the cannabinoid 1 (CB1) receptors in the brain. It stimulates the parts of the brain that cause the release of dopamine - creating a feeling of euphoria and well-being.

CBG is considered a minor cannabinoid,it is also known as cannabigerol, an active cannabis compound that is known primarily for its antibacterial effects

CBN, is an analgesic that is created from the breakdown of THC by oxidation. It is slightly psychoactive, and is only found in small amounts in fresh cannabis plants.

THCV, is believed to be a cannabinoid that moderates the intensity of the psychoactive effects of THC. Some research that is being carried out on THCV, also suggests that it can be used for the treatment of metabolic disorders and to act as an appetite suppressant.

The Cannabichromene, or CBC, is thought to have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, although not enough medical research has been done on this cannabinoid.
